![]() Sketchup 7 Pro's Mac system requirements specify a graphics processor with at least 512MB of VRAM. Your 2.53GHz 13" MBP has an integrated 9400M graphics processor that shares 256MB of the computer's main memory. This hasn't helped.Īny thoughts will be greatly appreciated and or links to other resources that may have a solution. I'v tried changing the Open GL settings in Sketchup. Or is there a known compatability problem between SketchUp 7 and Mac OS X? I also assume that there is something easy that can be done to fix the problem? I assume that this level of computer would have no problems handling the simple models I've been throwing at it. SketchUp worked fine on my 4 year old think pad so I'm kindo of shocked (and really bummed) at the Mac's performance. This includes the graphics card related functions such as panning, orbiting and zooming AND the processor related functions such as intersecting and exploding. Unfortunately this is not the case - everything is incredibly slow. ![]() ![]() ![]() Based on the system requirements from SketchUp this should run very well on my machine. I recently migrated from a PC to a 13" Macboook Pro 2.53ghz and purchased sketchup pro 7 that I planned on using to build relatively simple architctural concept annd massing models. This is my first post - apologies if this isn't the best place for my question, but I thought this was as good a place as any to start.
